Billy W. Pennington
Billy W. Pennington was born and raised in the mountains of southeast Kentucky near the town of Hyden. Upon graduation from high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He has worked as a carpenter, electronic technician, computer service technician and a truck driver. He currently resides in Richmond, Kentucky with his wife, Kathy. Their two sons Gustavo and Joshua live nearby.
He has written for the Leslie County News and articles on archery for The Kentucky Sportsman, a southeastern Kentucky sport monthly. In the summer of 1987 he had a short story published in Bane K. Wilker's Tails of the Old West, a Literary Magazine.
